  • Information We Collect

  • What we do with the information we gather
    We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

    * We may periodically send emails introducing you to new survey panels and business opportunities. These emails will be clearly labeled and only sent to you if you have expressly agreed to our terms by checking the "yes" box on our registration form.

    * You are not obligated to participate in any survey, contest or offer to be a member of TeensPanel.com. Furthermore, we will not share, rent, sale or provide any identifying information about you to third parties. This includes your email address.

  • Affiliate and Referral Payments
    Payments for all referrals from our members and affiliates are sent on a net 30 payment schedule. This means that affiliate income made during a months period will be paid out within 30 days of that months end. For example, if you earn $100 from March 1st to March 31st, your payment will be sent by April 30th. Currently we can send your payments through check or Pay Pal.

  • Information Collected for Payments and Tax Purposes
    For the sole purpose of issuing payments and sending tax forms, we may also need to collect the following information:

    * Full Name
    * Social Security or Tax ID Number
    * Mailing Address

    This information will be submitted in the form of a 1099 Tax Form and will be kept in a file offline. This information will only be used to send you an earnings statement for tax purposes. A 1099 form is only needed if you participate in our referral or affiliate program. You will be asked to fax us a copy when your first payment is issued. Your address may also be used to send checks and payments for your participation in our surveys.
  • Security
    We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

  • Links to other websites
    Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over the content of other websites. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question. However, we research and evaluate every website we link to to insure that they are a respectable market research company who's only interest is to conduct research surveys targeted at our teenage members.

  • Controlling your personal information
    You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways:

    • You may also automatically opt out by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our website or any of our emails.

    Please note that the only way we have of insuring you will no longer receive emails from TeensPanel.com is to remove you from our database. Once removed from our database your account with TeensPanel.com is permanently deleted. Any and all information about your account, including payments pending, referrals or surveys taken will also be deleted an unable to retrieve. If you have earned over $600 in a period between January 1st and December 31st we will keep a copy of your 1099 tax form in order to send to you for tax purposes.

    * We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.
