Teens Panel was formed in December of 2008 by the owners of two of the largest paid survey sites online.

After noticing that there were not many opportunities for teenagers to make money online we decided to build a panel of teens who would be readily available to participate in market research surveys. There is a great demand for teen input in the market research industry. Products marketed to teens are some of the most popular products sold. Video games, movies and music related products are directly marketed to teenagers.

The makers of these products need to know what kids want and expect from their products in order to produce products that teens will want to buy. So it is important for them to get as much feedback as possible from this age group. We noticed that although the need for teen input was high, there was no one making a strong effort to recruit the teen population.

We formed the Teens Panel to introduce teens to the world of market research and give them an opportunity to earn some money and cool prizes while at the same time having fun and helping to improve the products that they love. We affiliate with several market research companies that compensate us for introducing people to their panels. Because of this we are able to offer our teen members a portion of our profits for introducing new teens to us.

Teens Panel believes that the opinion of teenagers needs to be heard. Companies are making billions of dollars every year on the products that are sold to, and for, teenagers. And we believe that these companies need to give back something to the people that have made them who they are. With Teens Panel we are giving a voice to teenagers and at the same time giving them the opportunity to be compensated for the input they provide.
